Our Anderson and Eureka Branch were awarded this project through Cal-Trans and the Mercer Fraser Company. This was a two year project that began in Eureka Route 101 and ended in Arcata. It was a high profile project to create an 8 mile safety route for motorist and bicyclist to have a safe path. These photos show rumble strip under and next to the stripe to create a barrier for the bicycle traffic. The material used was 100 mil thermo with ceramic high reflective bead for night and rain visibility. This job was finished in August of 2014 and now provides safe travel for both motorists and cyclist traveling this route.
